Project to promote energy efficiency in northern region

AMMAN ? The Royal Scientific Society (RSS) and the USAID Public Action for Water, Energy & Environment project signed an agreement earlier this week to increase the participation of youth and civil society organisations in issues of water and energy efficiency and conservation.

The targeted groups will help promote the use of water-saving devices and energy-saving light bulbs in Ajloun, Mafraq and Ramtha in the Kingdom's north.

An RSS statement said the project, which will be implemented over sixteen months, aims to "instil correct behaviours related to?? water and energy" consumption.
